What Services Does the Centre Provide?

The Legal Centre provides legal advice and assistance to individuals in communities across Ontario.  The Centre can help you:

  • Resolve a dispute involving your rights under the Human Rights Code
  • File an application to the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario if you want to ask the Tribunal to consider and resolve the dispute through mediation or at a hearing
  • Provide legal assistance when your application to the Tribunal is at mediation or at a hearing before the Tribunal
  • Help you enforce an Order of the Tribunal if the Tribunal finds that you have experienced discrimination.
