Temporary and casual workers

The Human Rights Code protects employees, temporary, and casual staff, and other persons in a work context, such as people who work to gain experience or for benefits. This also includes contractors, and people sent by employment agencies even if they would not be considered "employees" for the purposes of other legislation, such as the Employment Standards Act.
